Course objectives
The course deals with the history of Czech literature in the first half of the twentieth century within the broader context of world literature. The course focuses also on intermedial relations of Czech literature to visual arts (paintings, film etc.). After finishing the course the student will be able to:
- understand the development of Czech literature in the broader context of world literature
- understand Czech literature in intermedial relations to other arts
- to understand the acquired knowledge in the related disciplines

The lecture uses mainly the method of presentation, analysis and application of theoretical knowledge during instructive interpretations.

Students of "LMK": written test and oral exam; other programs - colloquium.
