Prerequisites
PSA_0SZ Comprehensive Examination
A knowledge of relevant topics from literature regarding subjects like PSA 019, PSA 036 Psychology of Development Part I, II, PSA 053 Psychodiagnostics of Children and Adolescents is assumed. Active attendance of seminars is expected, elaboration of home works and final written paper is necessary. For successful pass is necessary to attend 70 % of lessons.

Course objectives
Aim of the programme is to convey to students: - main theoretical basis of psychological diagnostics in field of projective methods - basic practical experience working with these methods both through use of demonstrative case-history methods which are elaborated by students inder supervision during seminars. Students areexpected to gain: - introductory and basic practical experience with psychological diagnostic through use of projective methods Baum test and Figure Drawing Test - practical experience in working with client using projective technique - they will be able to deliver basic diagnostic deliberations and conklusions in conjuction with other methodsprimary clinical methods /observation, anamnesis/.

  • Introduction: definition of basic terminology, classification of projective techniques, projective methods in psychological diagnostic of children and adolescents, critical objections against projective techniques. Projective technique Baum Test and Figure Drawing Test.

Teaching methods
Tuitions take place once in two weeks during term. Seminar attendance is obligatory, active participation is expected. Elaboration of home works and diskussion at seminars is expected. For successful pass is necessary to attend 70 % of lessons.
Assessment methods
To pass subjects of study successfully, elaboration of final written paper in extend of 3 pages minimum is necessary. Student is required to elaborate in writting one demonstrated or under supervision evaluated Baum Test /description, data of anamnesis, diagnostic speculation /hypothesis/, overall diagnosis conclusion.
