- Ability to follow a lecture and a movie in Greek. Basic oriantation in the Greek history of 20th century.

- Course objectives
- The use of history in the public scope will be demonstrated on three Greek movies. In the subsequent debates will be discussed topics such as: propaganda and history, memory and history, art and history, education and hiistori, the meaning of " public history" and the future of history as a social-political science in today's world
