- Course objectives
- This course introduces in the basics of academic publishing. The seminar discussions introduce doctoral students to review and editorial process in humanities and social science journals. The students prepare their publication project, choose an appropriate journal in cooperation with their supervisors, and present their project during the seminars.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:- understand the basics of review and editorial processes;
- choose the appropriate journal for their article in progress;
- justify their decision about the target journal;
- explain the state of the art and the theoretical background of their publication project;
- react to questions concerning their publication project.

- Students devise and present their publication project. The persuasiveness of the presentation and the participation in the discussion constitutes 100 percent of the evaluation criteria.
