- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of the Swedish pronunciation and phonetic rules: individual vowels and consonants, prosody in short sentences and basic reduction and assimilation, the relationship between phonetics and spelling. Students should also be able to understand a native Swede who uses simple sentences and speaks at a normal pace.
