- Course objectives
- Film analysis. The Seminar is related to the course Introduction to Film Studies. Course objectives: deep understanding of the basic principles of film form, narrative and style, and an ability to analyze them. At the end of the course student should: - understsand the key concepts of systematic analysis of film - be able to analyze film narrative and style using formalistic analytical techniques - be able to express findings of the analysis in an original and clearly structured analytical essay, where each argument is based on concrete example
