- Course objectives
- This course is an introduction to the study of language and communication. It covers basic information about history of linguistics, main, linguistic theories, methods, disciplines, linguistic terminology and the features of Indo-European and Slavonic languages. At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain basic notions and theories from the branch of general linguistics and use basic linguistic terminology.
