- Course objectives
- Course abstract (in English):
The course „Documentation Techniques“ explains general principles and standards of drawing documentation of archaeological finds (artefacts) for archaeological reports and publications.
Students can find many study materials and additional information in supportive e-learning course.
In practical teaching, the emphasis is primarily on technical mastery of drawing documentation. Students practise drawing artefacts made of different materials (especially ceramic, stone, metal objects, eventually glass and organic materials).
At the end of this course, students should be able to draw a documentary illustration of an archaeological artefact and make a final table of drawings, correctly prepared to publication. - Syllabus
