Course objectives
The goal is to bridge the gap between an intro syntax course and "adult syntax." We will read papers and talk about them, we will have a guest lecturer who will try to stimulate a collaborative work on the topic of verbal stems in Czech/Slavic.
Syllabus
  • We will start working on verbal stems. Where we end up depends in part on the interest of the participants.

discussion over an assigned reading discussion of facts about verbs from various languages
