- Prerequisites
- It is one of the main, basic courses of classical archaeology, suggested to be attended in the first semester. Therefore it is without any prerequisits. Combination with courses KLA_001 Introduction to classical archaeology and KLA_002 Actuall questions, theory and methods of classical archaeology is appropriate.

- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquire the knowledge in Aegean prehistory. The course starts by first traces of human habitation in the region, accents the Bronze Age Minoan and Mycenaean civilisations and concludes in transition to the Early Iron Age.

- Student
- acquires good knowledge of facts (main sites, chronology, typology of material culture and art)
- knows and fossuces in the main bibliography
