- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is the introduction of the students to the issue of images in the Middle Ages - the image as historical source; the function of image in medieval society; the relationship between history and the history of art and the most significant research concepts.
- Learning outcomes
- After completion of the course, the student will be able to set out the important characteristics of reception of images in medieval society.
