Course objectives
The course includes the obligation to complete an internship abroad of at least one month in a position whose job content agrees with the content of the study of the Spanish language at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University.
Learning outcomes
Student by completing an internship: - gain experience with the practical application of subject (and pedagogical) knowledge and skills acquired through studies; - increase awareness of the application of Spanish abroad; - deepen their language skills; - will be able to design a plan of specific work activities and prepare a written reflection of their results.
Syllabus
  • 1. Preparatory phase before departure: consultation of the content of the internship with the subject guarantor. 2. Own internship of at least one month at a foreign institution, where it is possible to apply and deepen the knowledge and skills acquired through the university study of the Spanish language. 3. Final phase: evaluation of the benefits of the internship after return. Within two weeks after returning from the internship, students submit a written overview of the implemented pedagogical, professional, etc. activities (confirmed by the host party) and a written reflection on the traineeship.

Assessment methods
The evaluation is based on a written overview of the implemented pedagogical, professional, etc. activities (confirmed by the host party), which the student submits to the course leader within two weeks after returning from the internship. It is also based on the final personal interview of the course leader with the student.
