Course objectives
This course is an introduction to PC work. The students should master the main application used for study at Faculty of Arts, namely the basics of Windows, MS Office 365 Pro Plus, Internet (e-mail, WWW browsers), internet security. To get the credit students have to show the practical knowledge of these applications.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to master and use basic tools and database systems.

  • Schedule: 01. Desktop and mobile computers, hardware, Computer Ergonomy 02. Operating systems- Windows, OS X, Linux, Android etc. 03. Internet Browsers: Internet Explorer, Mozilla (Firefox) 04. Internet Security 05. Safe Data Backup and Burning Software 06. Programs for Video, Photo and Audio editing, media players, codecs 07. MS Office 365 Pro Plus - Applications, OneDrive and OneNote (in more detail) 08. MS Office 365 - Word, Powerpoint (advanced skills)
