Course objectives
This course is a follow up course of the Practical Dutch II/1 in the winter term. In this course the method Contact 2 is used. The main objective of the course is to aquire the knowledge and skills on the B1 level of the Common European Framework for Languages. This is the level that may be tested by the international CNaVT certificate profile B1.

Teaching methods
Intensive student-orientated seminars: writing, reading, conversation, prosody, listening and language exercises.
Assessment methods
Students are expected to actively participate in lessons. In case they are asked to, they will prepare for the following week's topic at home. An important requirement for success is attendance: a maximum of two absences will be tolerated. The course concludes with a written exam.
