- Course objectives
- Students individually consult on their work with the thesis supervisor based on the needs of the student and with a view to the quality and timely completion of the work. In this programme students write a thesis in the field of foreign language teaching according to the project of their diploma thesis.
- Learning outcomes
- The students are able to: • conduct and evaluate classroom research • appropriately present their research in written form • write several chapters of their theses, including theoretical part, review of literature, empirical part
- Syllabus
- This subject is organized individually. The supervisor typically addresses the following aspects of the emerging manuscript: • The appropriateness of data collection and analysis with regard to the selected tradition. • The appropriateness of the presentation of selected findings. • The structure of the theoretical part and of the review of literature, the appropriateness of the presentation of theoretical background. • The correctness and accuracy of references to other works. • Adherence to the APA style.

- The minimum of 2 individual consultations, reading, individual work of the student.
- Assessment methods
- The supervisors award the credit on the basis of the requirements that they agreed on with the students at the beginning. Typically, students meet their supervisor a minimum of 2 times and produce several chapters from the theoretical part, review of literature and empirical part of the thesis.
