- Course objectives
- Upon completion of this course, the student will have a general knowledge of the evolution of literature in the former GDR since May 1945 till the reunion of Germany, or to the nineties of the 20th century, respectively. The main scope is partly to describe literary life under a dictatorship, pursuit of authors and censorship and partly learning about authors who produced works of everlasting value.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of this course, the student will have a general knowledge of the evolution of literature in the former GDR since May 1945 till the reunion of Germany, or to the nineties of the 20th century, respectively.
