Course objectives
The discipline is chosen with regard to the theme of students doctoral disertation. In the chosen discipline, the theoretical and methodological frameworks as well as current discussions on the development of a chosen discipline and its individual themes/areas/issues are dealt with.
Learning outcomes
The graduate is equipped with a deep knowledge of the theory of pedagogical sciences with support for Czech and foreign literature.
Syllabus
  • The supervisor chooses a pedagogical discipline (subdiscipline) that is close to the doctoral student's dissertation project. The supervisor will create a reading list containing 5 representative monographs and 15 influential articles, and this list is first approved by the chairman of the subject council. After approval of the discipline and the list of literature, this list is sent to the student who is studying the literature. The list will bring the student to the exam in several copies and this sheet becomes the basis for the oral exam.
