Pod uwagę brane są też ważne wydarzenia i rocznice, np. Rok Czesława Miłosza (2011), Rok Henryka Sienkiewicza (2016), Rok Zbigniewa Herberta (2008 i 2018), Rok C. K. Norwida, S. Lema, T. Różewicza i K.K. Baczyńskiego (2021) albo Rok Romantyzmu Polskiego (2022). W takich przypadkach przez cały semestr poświęcamy uwagę konkretnym twórcom.
