L. Sackett, R. B. Haynes). Students will be able to work effectively with information sources, to choose adequate references and to critically evaluate and synthesize the acquired knowledge in the professional text; they will acquire deeper foundations of scientific knowledge and evidence including methodological culture, the importance of the socio-cultural context and the problems of the hidden selectivity of published studies; they will acquire the meta-skills necessary for the preparation and conduct of research projects, including the critical assessment of scientific evidence, the hypotheses formulation and testing, and the planning methodologically different types of research.
