- Course objectives
- The course aims to provide Latin students with a space for a deeper understanding of Latin grammar, literature, and culture, deepening collegial bonds and artistic self-realization through the dramatization of selected Latin texts.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- reproduce his/her role within a dramatised text;
- explain the literary and linguistic specifics of a dramatised text;
- interpret the performative aspects of a dramatised text;
- explain the meaning of the performance of a dramatized text. - Syllabus
- 1st–14th week: Rehearsal and production of dramatization according to the schedule.
- Teaching methods
- Discussions, rehearsals, and realization of the production.
- Assessment methods
- Credit is given for active participation in the production and its preparation.
