Course objectives
The course introduces the contributions of 20th-century music pedagogy, focusing on significant figures and analyzing the impulses their concepts represent for music education.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, the student will be able to:
- Summarize the key contributions of the presented figures.
- Describe the possibilities that each concept offers for music education didactics.
- Apply individual teaching systems to their own pedagogical process (such as phonogestics).
- Analyze the contributions of these concepts in relation to the development of general musicianship and musical literacy.

Assessment methods
At least 50% attendance in class, along with a final presentation of the assigned project (a song presented in rhythmic analysis - rhythmic syllables, and melodic analysis - conversion to solmization and phonogestics).
