Course objectives
The course is focused on the analysis of partly or fully professional texts according to the subjects studied at the Faculty of Arts and Social Studies. During the course all language skills will be practised (listening, reading comprehension, oral and written presentations) and revision excercises will follow. See Literature.

  • Materiály, se kterými se pracuje v tomto kurzu, jsou k dispozici na odd. jazyků na Filozofické fakultě a Fakultě sociálních studií a v Jazykové studovně na Rektorátě MU. Úplný seznam a bibliografie k dispozici u vyučující.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Semestr je zakončen zkouškou: písemnou a ústní. Předpokladem je úspěšné napsání testu. U ústní části bude ověřována aktivní schopnost komunikovat o svém oboru, schopnost pracovat s odborným textem a znalost odborné terminologie svého oboru. Součástí ústní zkoušky je předložení překladu 5 stran soudobého odborného textu (formát A4, napsaný na počítači) spolu s originálem, nejméně týden před termínem zkoušky.
