- Course objectives
- This course will be based on the traditional way of learning new words in thematic blocks. Apart from the words introduced in Peprník's Angličtina pro filology I, we'll also look at the usage, synonyms and "false friends". Each term will cover ten lessons of the textbook plus some supplementary material. Though the course is intended as a supplement to the Practical English course and a preparation for the Comprehensive Exam, it may also be found useful by people who do not take the PE course.
