Course objectives
The course introduces students to one of the most recent trends in literary theoretical thought that is an investigation in the fictional world of narratives as in a specific kind of a possible world. Students will be introduced to a theoretical backround of the theory of fictional worlds, as well as to its particular application to individual narrative texts. By elaborating on particular mainly English texts several levels of the structure of fictional worlds and their relationships with other theories will be recovered.
