Course objectives

This seminar is focused on analysis of selected films from Latin America. We will study their cultural specifics, reflections of social, ethnic and politic problems and questions of machismo.

Assessment methods (in Czech)

Výuka probíhá jako cyklus filmových projekcí (35 mm, VHS, DVD)v kinosále FF a v NFA v Praze. Zápočet: Úvod k filmu, tlumočení filmu nebo esej.
