- Course objectives
- Recapitulation of transparent intensional logic. Based on it a new theory of concepts is formulated. First of all a brief survey of major theories of concepts is given, together with critical remarks, and Bolzano's theory is shown to be a predecessor of the theory to be presented. The set-theoretical conceptions of concept are rejected and concept is characterized as an abstract identifying procedure. Afterwards the TIL theory of constructions is applied to realize the above characterization of concepts.
