- Course objectives
- The lecture is focused on relations between European and Hollywood cinema - we will concentrate on the history of exhibition and reception of american cinema in Europe since 1945. The lecture deals with the distribution of European cinema in United States, the mutual influnce between Hollywood and European Cinema on style nad narrative, European co-productions as a strategy how to compete with Hollywood, runaway productions in Europe, reception of Hollywood in Europe and vice-versa. - 7-stránkový text na přednášejícím schválené téma - výzkum vztahů hollywoodské a evropské kinematografie, např. distribuce konkrétního filmu v USA nebo amerického filmu v ČR, analýza kritické debaty kolem uvedení evropského filmu v USA nebo amerického v ČR, apod. Povinnost využít sekundární literaturu doporučenou při přednáškách a dostupné databáze. Povinnost odevzdat do 3-stránkový návrh tématu.
