- Course objectives
- This course gives a basic orientation in historical, theoretical and practical problems of music notation as the main communication means in music. It deals also with the problems of identification of various kinds of notation and with the ways of their transcription in present music notation.

- Požadavky ke zkoušce: Úspěšné napsání seminární práce (přepis zadané předlohy) Úspěšné napsání zkušebního testu (přepis 10 taktů vylosované předlohy) Úspěšné složení ústní zkoušky spočívající v diskuzi o provedených přepisech a základních problémech jednotlivých vývojových etap notového zápisu.
