Modern Lithuanian and Latvian literature (XIX - XX century).
Syllabus
  • Cultural and political identity in Latvia and Lithuania at the beginning of 19th century.
  • National revival in Lithuania and Latvia
  • Lithuanian literature and the literature of Lithuania.
  • Latvian literature and the literature of Latvia.
  • The institutional frame of the natopnal literature.
  • Literary classicism, modernism and avantgard
