Course objectives
The classes are focused on the origins and development of Ancient Indian theatre. We are going to discuss famous Sanskrit plays, theoretical papers and staging art of Old Indian theatre during first centuries A.D. In most of the lectures we are going to analyze dramatic texts and papers (in Czech or English) based on reading.
