Main objectives of the course:
At the end of this course, the students should be able to:
- be familiar with relevant grammar
- be familiar with relevant vocabulary
- apply the acquired knowledge in reading selected simple passages from ancient Chinese texts and translate the texts

Teaching methods
Contents of the semester:
Reading of simple passages from selected ancient Chinese texts(Mengzi, Hanfeizi, Laozi, Zhuangzi),grammar explanation, translation of sentences, exercises, homeworks
Assessment methods
Requirements for the credit:
(a) active participation in seminars;
(b) written test (min. 60 p./max. 100 p.); content: translation, gramar tasks, writing characters, structure conversions
