- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide a survey of the development of the Croatian literature in the 20th century. The characteristics of the dominant styles, genres, tendencies and creative methods is based on the contextual analysis of the most significant works of the period. Croatian literature is examined in the context of the domestic as well as European historical and cultural developments. On successful completion of the course student will acquire knowledge of several epochs of the development of Croatian literature and he will deepen his skill to analyse and interpret a literary text.

- Prerequisites for granting the credit: regular attendance (maximum of 3 absences during a semester) and thorough home preparation on weekly basis, participation in class discussion, oral presentation. The exam has a form of a written test.
