- At the end of this course students are able to:
- acquire sufficient vocabulary for expressing a social sciences-oriented scholarly text in Latin
- search a rarer term in a dictionary and specialized handbooks
- formulate a correct sentence in Latin
- master the basic Latin stylistics
- write a Latin summary of a scholarly text from the field of social sciences - Syllabus
- 1) Diction of Latin scholarly texts of various kinds according to various social sciences
- 2) Scholarly texts in Latin
- 3) Writing a Latin summary of a scholarly text
- 4) Writing a simple introduction to an edition: modus edendi – de rationibus et usu operis
