- Course objectives
- At the end of the course the students will be able:
- to work with the primary and secondary literary texts
- to read critically the primary literary texts
- to prepare a concept of a thesis concentrated on the problems of literary theory or history
- to search secondary literature a to develop a critical approach to it
- to create a coherent text of a thesis concentrated on the problems of literary theory or history - Syllabus
- The basic scheme of the course:
- 1. preacquaintance with the praxis of a comparative literary research
- 2. scientific attitude towards a literary text
- 3. the development of the concept of the individual final essay
- 4. formulation of the basic propositions of the final essay
- 5. working with the primary texts
- 6. search of the secondary literature and how to handle it
- 7. the rule how to quote
- 8. introduction of the theme of the final individual essay to others participants
- 9. group discussion about the development of the individual final essays
- 10. group discussion about the development of the individual final essays
- 11. group discussion about the development of the individual final essays
- 12. review of the individual final essays in the group
- 13. review of the individual final essays in the group
