- Course objectives
- The main objectives of the course are the following: making students aware of historical circumstances of erection and development of Roman provinces in the Middle Danube region; analyzing the impact of expansion of the Roman empire into this region and their effect to the material culture of barbarian tribes; acquainting students with fundamentals of the methodology of so-called provincial-roman archaeology and with the key current scientic problems in these provinces.
