Course objectives
This course is focused on getting practical skills in academic writing. Students will cope with writing, editing and critical evaluating of the scientific essays. An important part of the course will be also an approach to the special publications and information sources. We encourage the students to keep the following procedure.
Syllabus
  • Recommended procedure and time schedule for semestral paper: - (February) - Study of the collected material: Student prepares a final structure of the paper. - (March-May) - Working on the semestral paper - Presentation of the paper. Students are obliged to consult the seminar paper procedure with the teacher.

Teaching methods
Collective theoretical preparation: formal rules of academic writing (bibliographical norm, structure, correct argumentation and rationalization). Discussion of home works: literature and other sources collection, structure of the essay. Students' presentations.
Assessment methods
The credit will be given for semestral paper delivery.
