- Course objectives
- The main target of this subject is to offer to the student a general view of catalan literature during a difficult period od catalan literature and history in the catalan countries. This subject begins there, where Literatura catalana I finishes and directly links to Literatura catalana III.
- Syllabus
- The subject continues with the cycle od catalan literature started in Literature catalana I. The contents of the course is divided in two parts: A. CATALAN LITERATURE FROM RENAISSANCE TO NEOCLASSICISM 1. Decadence 2. Renaissance Spill de la Vida Religiosa 3. - Teaching methods
- Lecture: description of the literary field, explanation and definition of basic notions and their demonstration on concrete texts by concrete authors. Seminar: Application of the acquired theoretical knowledge on authentic texts. In the form of a presentation the students show their capability to connect their theoretical knowledge while working with a concrete text.
- Assessment methods
- The subject requires attendance and has a virtual part through computer university tools, such as IS and ELF. The subject will be finished with a final exam or a written essay.
