- Course objectives
- The course prepares students for writing their final theses. It takes the form of an electronic course. The students work independently in the course, studying the methodology of research, the principles of academic writing, and the formal aspects of writing a thesis. They are asked to submit assignments in an electronic form. The assignments represent preparatory steps to writing the final thesis (delimitation of the topic, compiling working bibliography, collecting material).

- Teaching methods
- The course makes use of the methods of e-learning. Students work independently on assignments listed in the syllabus of the course and upload them into the electronic course. They process primary and secondary sources. The assignments take the form of exercises in reading and critical analysis of scholarly texts, in preparing materials for analysis, in editorial work and in the use different editorial styles.

- A fully on-line course. The credits are awarded for handing in all assignments in the course.
