Course objectives
Did Czech exile literature anticipated globalization? Is it possible to define exile literature thematically as works that on the basis of Czech experience sought how to grasp experience of a new environment and enrich a Czech experience with it? Are these methods actual for the current globalization today? These topics will be engaged in a compact literary seminar lead by Jan Čulík from Glasgow University, which will be held at the Masaryk University from 31st March, 2015, five times in total, each time on Tuesday afternoon.
