- Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
to learn about the French method of interpreting a philosophical text;
to analyse The Order of Things using French methodology;
to read other texts that will enable us to locate The Order of Things in the French philosophy of the second half of the 20th century - Syllabus
- Interpretation of philosophical text (French methodology)
- Introduction to The Order of Things (key themes and notions: episteme, archeology, discontinuity)

- The seminar is based on close reading and commentary of chosen texts. The credits will be gained according to the quality of home preparation and activity in class discussions (80% participation).
