Course objectives
At the end of the course the students will able to define basic theories of non-aesthetic functions of the theatre, to understand the concepts and to work with terminology. The course is based on reading the texts (chosen parts and chapters of primary texts), interpretation, debate and giving examples. The active participating, preparing of short reports on particular themes, and writing the final essay is expected from the students.
