Course objectives
The Codicology course provides a comprehensive overview of manuscripts and manuscript libraries, the origins of manuscripts, their different types and users, the principles for describing them, the development of libraries and the most important libraries in Europe, Bohemia and Moravia, as well as Medieval manuscript collections.
