Course objectives
At the end of the course Interpreting Seminar I, the student will have the knowledge on consecutive interpretation, on consecutive without notes and with notes. The student will also have a basic knowledge of practicing sight translation and will practice interpretation of audio and audiovisual records.

Acquisition of basic knowledge about the types of interpretation, and about the professional qualities of the interpreter. Auto-training methods. Practicing of consecutive interpretation without notes and with notes-taking. Practicing of sight translation and interpretation of audio and audiovisual records.

Practical oral examination of consecutive interpretation
