- Cíle předmětu
- Modern theory of narration (narratology) embodies one of the most dynamically developing part of literary theoretical studies, as well as inter-medial studies and trans-disciplinary scholarly contexts. The course primarily represents an introduction to classical and post-classical narratological concepts and strategies and their applications to various kinds of artistic and non-artistic narratives.

- After finishing the course the students will be able to:
- comprehend selected classical and post-classical narratological concepts in English;
- understand and use crucial narratological concepts in English;
- become familiar with the most recent trends in modern narratology;
- apply some of the narratological concept for an analysis of particular works of art. - Osnova
