- Course objectives
- The course motivates students to gain professional experience in the field in general and to make progress in their projects in particular. It offers space for academic growth and for obtaining feedback from the supervisor as well as from the wider academic community. Among the activities for which students can get credit in this course are: independent research activities, such as collecting and processing relevant scholarly resources, and regular consultations.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of this course the students will have basic awareness of the thematic field their projects are situated in, as well as a good knowledge of the primary and secondary resources relevant for their projects.
- Syllabus
- The course motivates students to gain professional experience in the field in general and to make progress in their projects in particular. - Literature
- Due to the specific nature of the subject no mandatory reading is required.
- Teaching methods
- Independent research activities; collecting and processing relevant scholarly resources; regular consultations.
- Assessment methods
- The student presents the supervisor with the resources s/he obtained and/or got acquainted with, discusses their relevance and merit for the project in question. Based on the regular consultations, and the quality of the material preseted, the supervisor assesses the progress made during the course.

- The course can also be completed outside the examination period.
The course is taught once in two years.
