Course objectives
The goal of this course is to review the information on Latvian language system and to drill practical skills of Latvian. The main effort is aimed on communicative skills and use of Latvian nominal and verbal syntagma.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
communicate the given topics;
decline nouns and conjugate verbs in different tenses and moods;
orientate himself in given vocabulary.
Syllabus
  • Topics: leisure time, family, profession.
  • Using Lithuanian nominal syntagma (drill).
  • Using Lithuanian verbal syntagma (drill).
Teaching methods
Drill, group projects, individual work.
Assessment methods
Work in lessons, written test.
