- Course objectives
- Polish course for intermediate students, designed for interested students from other faculties. The main stress is put on conversations, exercising grammar issues presented in former courses and presenting new issues. The teacher uses original texts, audio and video materials, Polish poets’ poems. The students have opportunities to deal closer with facts from Polish history and culture. To enroll on these classes, students have to know the language on the B2 level. The level of Polish knowledge after this course is C1 ‘upper-intermediate level’.
After completing the course students will be able to:
- understand and explain grammatical structures adequate to the course level
- use information and lexis in communication with native speakers
- build correct grammatical structures
- interprete Polish texts
- read, write and speak in proper Polish
- know Polish orthography rules - Syllabus

The condition to pass this subject is passing the test. The later is conducted in the term agreed with the lecturer and students. Additionally students have to prepare all written works assigned by the teacher. There are possible two absences in each semester. - Language of instruction
