- Course objectives
- During this course, students will get familiar with more more aspects of Basque Culture, such as political structure, well-known Basque historical characters, Basque emigration, mountain climbing tradition etc.

- 1. Presentación del programa. Repaso general del curso I. Denominaciones del País Vasco a través de la historia. 2. La organización política de la sociedad vasca. Parlamento Vasco. Instituciones. 3. De los Fueros al Estatuto de Autonomía. Concierto económico 4. La destrucción de Gernika -1937. 5. Diáspora vasca. Euskal etxeak. 6. Vascos reconocidos en la historia: Elkano, San Ignacio de Loiola, San Francisco Javier, Telesforo Aranzadi etc. 7. Vascas reconocidas en la historia: Catalina de Erauso, Bizenta Mogel, Dolores Ibarruri, Emiliana Zubeldia etc. 8. Alpinismo vasco: Iñurrategi anaiak, Iñaki Ochoa de Olza, Edurne Pasaban. 9. Ciudades de Euskadi. Patrimonio cultural. Chillida y Oteiza 10. Gastronomía vasca: Basque Culinary Center. Restaurantes de prestigio. 11. Colaboraciones entre músicos y escritores vascos: Sarrionandia, Lertxundi, Artze, etc.

- En las sesiones se realizará una exposición introductoria que servirá para analizar el contexto de diferentes manifestaciones culturales y se trabajará con diferentes soportes (audio, video, texto, imagen, etc.). Para ello, es indispensable que las y los alumnos muestren una actitud activa en clase.
- Assessment methods (in Czech)
- Test escrito (%70). Participación (%30): además de realizar las tareas y participar activamente en clase, para optar a estos puntos es imprescindible asistir a clase.
