- Course objectives
- Technology plays an important role in all areas of human activity, and so it is in libraries. A modern library can no longer be imagined without computers and technologies. The course will focus on the library system and its role in the implementation of library processes and services. However, students will also get acquainted with other systems used in libraries. Standardization in libraries, which enables cooperation between institutions, is also important. Another goal will be to introduce the best-known standards used in libraries. Other modern technologies used in libraries and the possibilities of using statistics in improving library services and management will also be discussed.
