- Course objectives
- The course provides elementary pedagogical training to doctoral students who assist some of the faculty of Masaryk University's Department for the Study of Religions. Under their supervision they participate in teaching, give feedback on students' submissions or otherwise help with a course.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- provide qualified feedback on B.A. and/or M.A. students' submissions;
- prepare a special lecture in a course in which they provide assistance;
- orient themselves in the practical side of teaching and in the organization of courses in the B.A. and/or M.A. programme.

- Informative meeting, requirements.
- Submitting a work plan with respect to assisting faculty staff in the given semester.
- Control meeting I: coordination of tasks, checking the participant’s work , feedback from teachers.
- Control meeting II: coordination of tasks, checking the participant’s work, feedback from teachers.
- Final evaluation seminar in which the mentor provides assistants with complex feedback on their involvement.

- Teaching methods
- The teaching has the form of individual working meetings with teachers of the courses in which the doctoral students provide assistance. Students work on their tasks following the work plan specified by their mentor (providing feedback on submissions, preparing special lectures, supervising seminars etc.).
- Assessment methods
- The grade is given on the basis of a timely as well as professional and formally correct delivery of the tasks specified by the mentors/teachers of courses in the work plan (100%). The grade is saved by the course's coordinator and is based on a written statement that the teachers submit to the Study Materials in IS MU.
